Successful Investigation Attributed to Training

Dear SPC Allstate Staff,

I am contacting your office to advise you of a successful investigation involving Human Trafficking, which was a direct result of FDLE's Advanced Human Trafficking Training St. Petersburg College sponsored. Detective Jeremy Lewis with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office attended the Advanced Human Trafficking Training at the Allstate Center.

Within two weeks of taking this course he contacted the Clearwater Area Human Trafficking Task Force reference a sexual battery investigation he was working. He stated he felt this was a Human Trafficking Case based upon the training he received. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Detective Jeremy Lewis and Detective Mark Dunnegan lead the investigation and the Task Force assisted. Detective Jeremy Lewis and Detective Mark Dunnegan did an excellent job with the investigation and Detective Lewis attributed the success of this investigation to the training he received from FDLE's Advanced Human Trafficking Investigations Course.

I have heard nothing but positive feedback about the course and would like to thank you, the instructors, and college for all their hard work in training Tampa Bay Area detectives to investigate this horrible crime. This is clearly an example of training is the key to successful investigations.
