Active in the Community:
The unifying purpose of Soroptimist International is Peace, and the mission is improving the lives of women and children in local communities and throughout the world; thus, Human Trafficking is of primary concern to members of the organization. June has completed the two, on-line Human Trafficking courses and the 8-hour classroom HT course offered by St. Petersburg College RCPI. She has given many HT awareness presentations to Toastmasters, Rotary, Women’s Club, Soroptimist, Registered Nurses, Department of Juvenile Justice, etc. and is constantly striving to engage organizations in a collaborative effort to bring awareness to the scourge of Modern Day Slavery. Awards Citizen of the Year Award 2010
