Dr. Robert J. Diemer

Director of Graduate Studies in Criminal Justice for Saint Leo University

Dr. Robert J. Diemer is an Associate Professor and currently serves as the Director of Graduate Studies in Criminal Justice for Saint Leo University, President of The Society for Public Safety and retired as a career law enforcement officer with over 27 years of varied investigative experience. Dr. Diemer has extensive knowledge in the area of undercover operations and has been extensively analyzing the trends of Human Trafficking and is developing Graduate College courses in the area of Human Trafficking.

Dr. Diemer has served as a Deputy Sheriff, State Coordinator for the Florida Sheriff’s Association Statewide Task Force, and Chief of Investigations for the Florida Department of Environmental Protections’ Division of Law Enforcement. He is nationally recognized for his law enforcement experience; guest lectures throughout the United States, and is an adjunct professor at two universities. Dr. Diemer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, a Master of Education Degree, and a Doctorate Degree in Criminology and Social Psychology.
